Where to Find Parking in Lake Worth

One of the biggest challenges of traveling with a vehicle is finding parking. However, you don’t need to let finding a spot ruin your vacation. Here’s everything that you should know about finding parking in Lake Worth.

The Low-Down

Unlike many other towns and cities in Palm Beach County, parking in Lake Worth isn’t very stressful. Most of the beaches have paid parking lots. In those lots, you can pay an hourly rate for parking. The earlier you go, the easier it is to find spots. If you travel to the area in the summertime, the beaches should be quiet enough that you can find parking easily. In-season, finding a spot can be a little more challenging.

The Cost

The cost of parking in the area is much lower than the cost of most other Florida beaches. As of August 2018, the cost of parking rises from $2.00 to $3.00 an hour. This rate is the same for both locals and visitors and only applies to beach lots.

The City of Lake Worth uses a pay-by-plate parking system in all of their beach lots and boat ramp lots. With the system, parking is easier than ever. You can download the Parkmobile app to add time and pay for extended parking. Instead of leaving the beah to extend your time, you can do it from your phone.
