The South Florida Garlic Fest: A Lake Worth Event
Are you looking for a Lake Worth even that will make your mouth water? If so, you should check out the South Florida Garlic Fest. This one-of-a-kind event is exciting for all.
What is the South Florida Garlic Fest?
This annual event is coming into its 20th year of festivities. On February 9th, the event kicks off at 11am and ends at 11pm. On February 10th, you can enjoy the event from 11am until 6pm. The event takes place at the John Prince Park in Lake Worth.
Many people refer to the festival as “The Best Stinkin’ Party in South Florida!”. As you might expect, the quantity of garlic at the festival makes this title appropriate. Although the event started off as a way to fund local non-profits, it’s become much more.
At the event, you can try some incredible and unique food. For example, you can try garlic ice cream, Argentinian garlic barbecue, and much more. There’s also a garlic cooking competition, in which chefs showcase dishes that celebrate garlic. There is so much good food that the Food Network has showcased the festival. It’s gained national fame.
But the festival is about more than food. When you attend, you can also listen to some incredible live entertainment. This year, Buddy Guy, Sister Hazel, and Collective Soul will all be performing. In booths throughout the festival, artists will showcase their talent.
